What are Solo Ads?

You visit a website. That site offers a free report that you can receive if you sign up for their email list. You sign up and get the free report. The owner of the website tries to grow his/her email list of people that have signed up for the free report to be about 5,000 or 10,000 or more subscribers.

Once the website owner has grown his list to a substantially large enough size he will start selling solo ads. When you sell a solo ad, you send an email to your list touting the free report that the solo ad buyer is giving away.

There is a link to the free report in the email. Every person that clicks on the link in the email is known as a “click.”

Solo ads are sold in some guaranteed minimum number of clicks like 100. You can price your solo ad at any level you want, but the price range is generally between $.30 and $.50 per click. So if someone charges $.40 per click, then a 100 click solo ad will cost you $40.

How Does HQ Solo Ad Work?

What HQ Solo Ad company does is help you gain subscribers for you to promote your website if you are promoting Wealthy Affiliate or some other affiliate marketing company. Once you select a program that suits your budget, HQ Solo Ad will create a campaign to send out to a targeted audience to solicit them to subscribe to your website. Using a company like Aweber, once customers subscribe to your site they will receive an email from you with your affiliate marketing offer. At that point, you can create several emails as follow-ups to promote your website to drive traffic to your site.

When a customer subscribes to your site through the HQ Solo Ad campaign, it is considered an opt-in. An optin is a potential customer you will attempt to get to sign up for a free membership. Once a client signs up for a free membership, you can use an email campaign to get your customers to sign up for a premium membership. Through Aweber (or whatever company you decide to manage your email campaign) you will collect and save the email addresses of customers interested in your niche, and you can send ‘broadcasts” to them periodically to promote your website or a new website or any product you are selling. The most important part of the process is the collection of emails for potential customers.

In my experience, I averaged an optin rate of about 70%. As a Wealthy Affiliate marketer, I averaged 20% free signup rate per campaign. Those are incredible numbers, and it far outperformed my Google and Bing Ad campaigns. But more importantly, you get to maintain all the email addresses for future campaigns, unlike a Google or Bing Ad campaigns.

Conclusion

I found that HQ Solo Ad is a great alternative to PPC campaigns which do not perform as well as HQ Solo Ad. You will have to calculate which method is more cost effective for you and which method will provide you with more conversions. But this is a very legitimate alternative to PPC Campaigns.

The staff at HQ Solo Ad is fantastic! They are always available and allow you to have us much input into you campaign as you desire. They keep you abreast of the status of your ad campaign and upon completion of your campaign provides valuable tracking information so you can evaluate the performance of your campaign.

Here is a sample Report after your campaign is completed:

Also, you are provided a list of each IP address, Country of origin, and hostname of every customer that opted into your HQ Solo Ad campaign.

I highly recommend using HQ Solo Ad as an alternative or complement your Google or Bing Ad campaigns. The only reason I rated HQ Solo Ad a four out of five is that it is a bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

    1. Hi!

They will tailor their Solo Ads to your niche. Once they review your website they will create an ad campaign for your target audience. It has been more than worth it for me and I will continue to purchase campaigns once a month. I hope you will find as much success as I have. Please mention my site when you join so they are aware I referred you. Thank you.
